My sis and I went to the museums today. First stop – Peranakan Museum.

Consummate room. How romantic. Let’s f-ck.
Big peranakan family. The designs on the dinnerware were intricate.
The reception of this phone is poor. I can hardly understand what the person on the other end is talking about.
Official seals.
I realized the deities they worship is very similar to that of the Chinese. Monkey god etc.
Kitchen.
Second stop - Singapore Philatelic Museum. I had always wanted to collect stamps when I was little. I envied my classmates when they flashed their stamps albums and talked about the origin of the stamps. It’s really amazing how all the story can we told when you open the stamp album. Somehow this fascination was not turned into reality. Stamp collecting never come to pass.
I learned some stamp lexicons:
Mama shop. Give me a teenage magazine.
A kid dropping a mail in the tiny post box.
More stamps!
Stamp charges and the locations.
Some of the post boxes in England.
Traveling bus.
Local breakfast.
We proceeded to the Singapore Art Museum.
I love this very much. – “The grass is always greener on the inside.” Walter by Dawn Ng
More rabbits! Loves.
This is a painting done by my sister’s students. Not bad for toddlers. I thought they drew lollies and satays but they were really unusual plants.
More paintings.
Paper butterflies.
This is an amazing place. I wish I have this corner to myself.
Enchanted Forest by Sandra Lee
I love these mechanical flowers that open and closes in a systematic fashion. It’s pretty neat. I’ll post a video of this on my tumblr. Floribots by Geoffrey Drake·Brockman
More handmade petals.
Nice lighting.
Classical finger-style guitar performance. I wanna sleep.
Thanks to Jun Xiang and Carol for celebrating my birthday with me. Awesome food at G7.
